Review
DScaler is a TV viewing application for Windows computers. This is NOT an application that you would download to watch TV from the Internet. DScaler requires supported equipment to even start. You need either a supported video capture device or a webcam that can handle lots of operations. DSCaler captures and processes the video feed coming from your device in real-time, getting rid of interlacing problems automatically. It also configures the input device to make it look its best, also automatically. The application was designed to make a video feed watchable on large screens and on monitor screens. Also, several filters can be added to play with the feed. Also, one can take snapshots of the video feed and save them to the hard drive. Closed captions can also be added to the final video and a range of other features is also available. The aspect ratio can be modified to fit several industry standards. In short, this is a free application that can handle video feeds and add effects to them just like a commercial application would do. |
